What software do i use to monitor fan speed? thanks Sean ******* LemonHead 04-29-2001, 01:55 PM naw its not in the bios. My motherboard is made by Microstar (its a MS5182 and i can't see any documentation on it ANYWHERE except on my computer manufacturer's website) Dave_Whittle 04-29-2001, 02:48 PM Iv'e emailed you the manual ill try and get the system monitor for the board and e-mail you that too Regards Dave Dave_Whittle 04-30-2001, 12:58 AM Which mobo are you using2? If you go to there website then it will probably have a monitor for that board under drivers. On some mobo's the fan speeds can also be monitored by the bios have a look through your bios and see if there any thing in there. Brangwen 04-30-2001, 07:32 PM Try Motherboard Monitor. Very popular free shareware program with alarms for overheating, fan rpms, etc. See: http://mbm.livewiredev.com/ Good luck! What i meant by there not being any documentation was that there is no record of it anywhere on MSi's site. which is a bummer. GunHo 05-01-2001, 06:23 PM I have the same mobo ms 5182(although retired now, collecting dust)I never was able to monitor the fan speed even though i had several different 3 wire(monitoring)fans on it.I also tried MBM5(mother board monitor version 5) I dont remember having any luck with it.My last cpu on this board was my k63 450+.
