Can address book transfer from outlook express to outlook

I have been using outlook express for my address book since it came with IE 4.0. It seems outlook is the deluxe version with other stuff, but I can't seem to transfer my address book over.

You should be able to import into Outlook easily, simply Open Outlook, under File, select import and export, then select Import Internet mail and addresses, then select outlook express. The you decide whether to create duplicates, replace them, etc... and voila, done.

mine imported automatically after i upgraded and then started outlook.you should be able to do the import thing though.

I tried the import, but it said it is not the right type. It only gives me the option of importing from Schedule and microsoft mail. Therefore, it did not know my file type.
