I got a ECS D6VAA motherboard w/ a dual P-III
667 MHZ CPU... Now whenever i change the wallpaper ( active desktop ) it crashes.. I can't control my mouse (USB intellieye). Anyone here who can help me??

note: dual booting win2k and win98...
Specs:
D6VAA mobo
Dual P-III cpu 667MHZ
128MB PC-33 and 64MB PC-100 RAM
Voodoo 3 3000 videocard
Maxtor 25GB ATA/66
Pioneer 12 DVD ROM drive
12x10x32 Plextor CDR

You installed the OS's in seperate partitions right?

yeah... separate partition but the same hd.... both fat32.. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif
also, this is just the 3rd day that I used my computer.. i just bought the D6VAA mobo..

My suggestion would be to just reinstall Win2k and see if that solves the problem..... Strange problems like that seem to be solved quicker by just reinstalling the OS than to wrestle it looking for the cause of the problem....
