i have two problems... the first is with my printer. after every sheet it prints (without problems) it says that there is a paper jam. there is never a jam, if anyone has any ideas i would be greatful

my second problem has to do with my antivirus program
whenever i start my computer with dr solomons anti virus installed, my computer crashes. it doesnt crash right at startup, but when the vshield program starts up. my computer either freezes or i get a blue screen message. the first time i had this problem i tried to reinstall the program, but the uninstaller program would always get cancelled somehow, finally i uninstalled and reinstalled with no luck at fixing the program. i currently have it uninstalled but would like to have antivirus protection... again, any help would be usefull if anyone needs it my system is an nec: win98, 64mb ram i can give more specific details is anyone asks.... thanks for any help

What kind of printer is it? Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the printer? That would be a good place to start.

As for the antivirus, after a crash, boot to safemode command prompt and take a look at the bootlog.txt, see what the last line says, it may give some idea what's up.
If you can boot to safemode, take a look at the Dr Solomon configuration, and disable everything and reboot. If it reboots, then you can enable things one at a time, reboot after each change untill it crashes. Then you would know the culprit.
