illegal opperation

my ms screen savers lock up my screen or gives me illegal opperation the only one that works better is the flying windows at slow speed. when i do'nt use a screen saver things are much better, but still it error's from time to time. i did defrag, scan disk,regclean, and system mech.

Someone had a similar prob about a week ago here. The flashier screen saver uses opengl (I think - I dont install them now). The driver that came with my Viper V550 vid card ages ago would lock up whenever those screensavers were tried. The other machines at work did the same thing (they were all the same m/board and vid card).
As soon as the vid driver was updated (I always reinstall the directx as well - just in case) the screen savers and games came good.
