Outlook express problem

In outlook express Version 5.50.3825.400.
After running it for a while I can not get into the mail toolbar( file,edit,veiw,etc..).
When I bring the cursor over any of them it highlights them but when I click on them nothing happens. I can use the other toolbar fine.I ahve to shut it down and restart it to get it to work.
Anyone seen this before?

yup, seen this quite a bit. actually most of the time what will happen is it will get to the point where when you try to open outlook express, you will get an hourglass cursor like it's working and then nothing ... it will just stop like you didn't do anything and the program will never open. but just before it gets this far, often times you will have problems like you are currently describing. the culprit most of the time is either very low free space, or your system resources at the time are low. given that you don't seem to have the problem until after its been running for a while, i would go with low system resources. your best bet would be to run through MSCONFIG and start up with only what you need and try it like that. your outlook should work fine after that and your computer will love you once again.
