DVD newbie

Ok I just put my Creative DVD in my system and I wanna connect it to my T.V occasionally which is in another room a fair way away so I'll have to put my P.C case next to T.V i.e unplug it and move it.
Two questions :

(1) Do I just connect the T.V to the decoder card?
(2) Sound : how do i connect my S/B live to my T.V or dont I need to ???

You'll need to connect the video cable that should have came with your card to the TV. The other end will connect to either the composite or the S-video jack on the decoder card (use s-video if your tv supports it). For the audio, connect a left & right rca cable from the decoder card to the left/right audio in on the tv.
