You know, this has absolutely nothing to do with computers, but we do have lives beyond them, too. So.. if this presents a problem, then let me know and you can delete it or clsoe the post.

BUT, I have a set (actually 5) Buick Grand National rims. 4 of them have Goodrich Comp T/A radials (z series - like 180 mph or so) mounted. These are original rims from the Grand National... (GNX) front tires alone are worth 190 @ and the back two are worth 165@, not top even mention the value of the rims.

I want $800 for all of it, plus a negotiable amount for shipping. Like I said, this has nothing to do with computers, but they aren't your run-of-the-mill items either.

If this is a problem, like I said, let me know.

I wouldn't say they don't have anything to do with computers - there was a post on the board yesterday about a guy wanting to build a CPU into his car for data gathering - Also - there was a message on that post about a guy building out a CPU in his car with a palm-pilot networked into it to play MP3 files over his stereo - really cool idea -

Otherwise, I'm not in the market for tires -

good luck - might try EBAY and auction them off. - Bad time of year though - no-one has any money.....

would a normal hardrive skip like a cd player in a car? cause if you don't have shock protection on a car cd player (or discman in a car) it'll skip like a b#$^&*%!

hmmmmm, sure they're rated for 180mph, but can they be overclocked to 200mph or so. Or do they start to smell like a PIII at those speeds.

GRANDSLAMMER.....

Are they off of your own car? If so I'd hold on to em. Unless you need the money that bad for new ones. If it is your car and the car is in mint condition your resale value will drop drastically. The GNX is gonna be a collectible in the future. I love my 96Z. But a lightly modded GNX sends chills up my spine when lined up at a stoplight. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Yeah, I'd say the GNX is THE post early 70's car! After the mustangs and the cudas, after say 72 or so, this is the car to have and to hold 'til death do you part!

But, I have these extra rims, and I need the bread. They look really great on nearly any car!

But, I'd love to get some kind of offer here.

So, beam me up, Scotty!
