Recently I lost my favorite utility book disk that I got from Bootdisk.com, and I went there to get another. When I got there, they had info posted about Microsoft's legal team telling them they had to remove all M$ software from their site, I.E. no more bootdisks at Bootdisk.com. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/frown.gif

So, my question is, does anyone have a good bootdisk that they could send me the contents thereof? One with a CD-ROM driver, and some juicy DOS utils if you please.

Perhaps it could be an early Christmas present?

for cd suport in dos there SHOULD be a disk that comes with the cd rom that has the spacific dos drivers on it and how to intall. Once installed all you gota do is move them to the bootdisk and add the config.sys and autoexec.bat lines. If you want a realy fancy boot disk you can make it look like a minu operating system with this cool dos utility I got called batch enhancer.(I can e-mail it to you) It takes a bit (a bit!! its incredibly difucult and hard to understan, just kidding) of setting up but it makes cool looking automated batch files with minus and stuff like that. (I use a modifyed bootdisk that you make with with windows add remove progam thingy.) I grew up in dos so its easy for me to use dos http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Oh, I perfer dos over windows. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

What I meant was that their general purpose bootdisks were removed. They had all sorts of DOS goodies in disk images that you could write directly to a floppy.

All thats gone now that M$ stuck their nose into it.
