I have put together a new system with all AOpen components as follows:
1) AK-73Pro(A) motherboard
2) A70S monitor
3) 12X DVD-Rom
4) CRW1232 CD rewriter
5) PA256MX video card
6) FM56-SM Modem
7) 256MB of PC133 memory
8) AMD Thunderbird 1.2 GHZ

About half of the time when I shut down I am getting a blue screen with the following error: "A fatal exception 0D has occurred at 0167:Bff72911. The current application will be terminated." It then just redisplays the same message when you hit any key. In addition to this, Windows 98SE keeps installing the A70S monitor twice. It is listed out two times under monitors in the Device Manager. If I delete one of the listings for the A70S and manage to get Windows to shut down without a blue screen, it just asks me to reinstall it the next time I restart the computer. If I delete both of the listings, it does two device installations.

I have done the following in an attempt to solve these problems with no success:
1) Swapped memory.
2) Formatted and installed WindowsME and then formatted and installed Windows98SE.
3) Updated to the latest driver for every device that I could.
4) Updated to the latest bios for the motherboard (the graphics card already has the latest bios).
5) Set the PC133 memory to run at 100MHZ.

I can't think of what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I forgot to say that this system is for my computer ignorant boss. He's beginning to think that I don't know what I'm doing. Please help!
