disabling manual feed

Does anyone know how to disable the manual feed option for a laserjet 6P? HP wants 25 per call. I have the manual but it does not tell me. Thanks

Close the manual feed door? other than that I would have to go lookup the spec's on that printer

We figured it out. You have to hold down the reset switch while at the same time power off the printer. Then while still holding the reset switch, power up the printer. The lights will start flashing and it will reset the hardware. No where in the manual does it tell you this. We got it by trial and error.
