Does anyone know if it is possible to convert Mac files to a format that can be read on an IBM compatible PC?

I have 4 CDs of info. If I look at the CDs on my PC, explorer doesn't see any files (not that I really expected it to!).

Surely someone must have written some software that can read Mac files?
