nasty new virus that will erase your HDD. comes as an e-mail attachment named pics4you.exe, and supposiddly doesn't start to work untill after the new year. I don't really know much more about it but it is definitly not a hoax because I saw it in action on TV tonight. Lets all keep our eyes open!

Well, why don't we extend this warning into the realm of just plain common sense, and say, ANY .exe file you ever get via e-mail is suspect of carrying a virus and should be treated as such (i.e. deleted).

Sometimes I wish I wasn't so cynical, but if the truth be known, I feel anyone who receives and executable file unsolicited in their e-mail, and THEN they just run it,...well...live'n'learn...they deserve what they get.

Might sound kinda harsh, but come'on, this is one of the fundamental rules of being connected to the outside world.
