Does anybody have this Main board and can they tell me if it will take both types of ram at the same time. I have searched and come up with nothing.

See if these links help;
http://www.aopen.nl/products/mb/ax59pro.htm
Full motherboard specs for the AOpen AX59 Pro (http://www.crucial.com/store/listparts.asp?model=AX59+Pro&DetailMB=Y) at Crucial.com (http://www.crucial.com/)
Review of the AX59 Pro at Anandtec (http://www2.anandtech.com/showdoc.html?i=209)
Normally I wouldn't recommend mixing EDO (60 nanosecond) and SDRAM (8-10ns), but here is quote from that review makes me hesitate; Courtesy of the MVP3 chipset, users have the option of taking advantage of the 2 SIMM slots on the AX59Pro by enabling a pseudo-synchronous memory bus operation mode which clocks the memory bus at the AGP clock (usually around 66MHz)
You are talking about using EDO SIMMS and SDRAM DIMMS, not EDO and SDRAM DIMMS...right?

In reference to my last question about mixing EDO and SDRAM DIMMS;
What is the difference between EDO and SDRAM? (http://support.crucial.com/scripts/crucial.exe/solution?11=001115-0005&130=000974321133&14=&2715=&15=&2716=&57=search&58=&2900=&25=6&3=EDO) Most systems accept either EDO or SDRAM, but not both.

Thanks Fingers.
My granson gets his Computer with 96 Meg in preference to 64. He will only be running AMD k6 550.
66 mghtz will be fast enough for him.
