...being a new IE 5 user, I am somewhat happy with it's usability over IE 4, but security holes are completely unacceptable.

Thanks to Scott for the IE 5 clipboard paste issue article, which outlines how to plug the hole very easily. I'd sure like to "plug" Gates a few times http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif.

Yep - - IE5 is 100% better than IE4 and MS still can't get it right.

Yuck! I NEVER knew I had even installed DHTML until I tried that same test and saw the contents of MY clipboard pop up on screen!

(and I am running IE4)

What is the registry hack to stop that in IE4 (is it the same as in IE5 beta)?

You don't "install" DHTML. It stands for Dynamic Hyper Text Markup Language.
It's mostly used for dynamic web effects, like mouseover color changes and such.
