Nighthawk 03-26-2001, 03:32 PM press ctrl-alt-del. It will bring up a list. Tell it to close everything except Explorer and systray. This might take multiple times giving it the 3-finger salute (C-A-D) S.D.Willie 03-26-2001, 03:57 PM your best bet is to go into the "run" command and type in "msconfig" then go to the "startup" tab and uncheck everything except systray. hit ok, then it will ask you to reboot. do that and run your progs.... then just go back into msconfig, and on the first tab you see, click "normal startup load all devices and drivers" reboot and that will do it.
