does anyone know any good sound editing and mixing applications, that lets you add effects, overlap 2 sounds ( in mp3 or wav format) and other nice stuff??

My sound card came with something that lets you mix WAV files, but it does not work on my other systems, so I think it is locked to this card.

Try Cool 3D its is complete and not to difficult to use. There are a bunch of shareware wav editors at:

Many let you add effects, save in different formats, etc. I use Wave Studio that came with my SB PCI128 and since Windows Media Plyaer installed the MP3 codec I can create mp3 without the need of an extra application.
