help me out here guys cuz I know your all a bunch of mp3 addicts http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif. I trying to get started with this whole mp3 thing and so I downloaded winamp, found a couple of search engines and found the song I was looking for.
My problem is that every link the search engines return is a broken one(and I mean all of them). Am I missing something here or is this normal? What are the best search engines?

Hmm wonder what the admins will think, oh well, Socalgal just remove if need be.

Most Search engines for Mp3s on the web dont work that well, usually mp3 links are only up for a few days if your lucky, then it gets deleted, try using the www.napster.com (http://www.napster.com) program, it sort of adds you to a worldwide network of mp3s, you can download Songs from other people, they can download from you. It has like 1000 gigabytes of songs shared between everyone, Good Luck

actually, as most of you know some MP3's are legal...ok if you have the CD you can have the songs or if you have some kind of copyright "ok" thing or you can keep one for 24 hours only then delete it...see most people opt for the 24 hour "test" it's just that then they "forget" to delete them...
