was running my at 550mhz on my bx board and getting good benchmarks. then I switched to a my soyo 6vba(via apollo 133) and now I'm at 605mhz. thought this was great until I ran benchmarks. sisoft memory benchmarks show that I'm almost at half the speed I was on my bx board(on a lower clock speed). then I ran cpumark99 and was getting lower scores on my via apollo. anyone have similar observations. or is it just me. try the memory bench on sisoft. you'll probably be disappointed if you have a via chipset.

I have seen the low memory scores with my 6vba but I think it might be due to a problem with sandra, but not sure.

I saw the same thing with Sandra on memory and wondered what had happened. Ran Wintune98 and it showed great performance from my ram.

I agree with Bdog that Sandra must have some sort of problem with the Via chipset. If you have Wintune98 try it and see what it reports on your memory performance.
