Worked for me, and made me think of a few things....

1)I now know who exactly to call when win98 gives me problems

2) I wonder how much of my hard drive space thats taking up....

cmonster,
is that the exact command line?
I tried it, and my system couldn't even find the main file under c! If you are sure that is it, don't bother, but if not, could you post the exact command (pasteable, if that is a word....)

Right click the desktop and chose "new/shortcut" copy and paste the following text in the command line box:

(Make sure that you are copying the entire command line including the quotation marks and the line below it.)

"C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\WELCOME\WELDATA.EXE" You_are_a_real_rascal

click next/finish THEN right click the new shortcut icon and choose properties:

*Start in = "C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\Microsoft\WELCOME"

*Run = Minimized

Click OK the changes - you are now ready to run the Easter egg from the shortcut icon.

Note: It may be that some of you ahve run disk clean up utilities that have removed the Easter egg.

Haha I was suprised though that Gates didn't have his name put on the first line.

cool, it works for me now. I wonder why it is hidden like that instead of being out in open where end users could see it.
