I just read that an Athlon requires a power supply of 300W; can anyone confirm or deny this?

I wouldn't want to buy the wrong case...thx all...

Yes! Actually I've heard of a few people getting them to work ok with a 250w, but if you are going to go out and buy one, then definitely get at least a 300w.

I have a 300W in my 550, but just to see, I tried it with an Enlight 235Watt.

Worked fine, till I put in a high power device, in English, a satellite card. Worked fine till I powered on the LNB, and it went into a reboot and fatal exception. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Don't you just love the friendly face of Windows. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif
