Hey I got a HP CD burner 8250i which is 4x4x24. When I am burning a CD, It only says that Im buringing at 2x. What am I doing wrong...

did you change the settings for the burn speed? it is in the menu when it asks you if you would like to test and burn, or just burn

Gotta agree with Wiz.

My mastering software allows me to manipulate the burning speed with choices of 1x, 2x, and 4x...... Take a closer look at your program and look for the area that allows you to configure the burn (ie: Test or not, speed, mode, close disc or not, etc etc)
