I WANTED TO REPARTITION MY HARD DRIVE AND WOUND UP IN EZ-BIOS. I MADE SOME CHANGES TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN (STUPID I KNOW) AND BEFORE I KNEW IT, I WAS LOCKED OUT OF MY SYSTEM. EVERYTIME I BOOT IT UP, I GET THE DOS PROMPT FOR C: AND THE MESSAGE ASKING ME FOR THE NAME OF MY COMMAND INTERPRETER (E.G. C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM). I WENT BACK AND PLACED THE SETTINGS BACK THE WAY THEY WERE, BUT THE PROMPT CONTINUES TO COME UP AND WON'T CONTINUE TO LOAD WINDOWS.
ANY HELP WOULD BE APPRECIATED.

have you tried setting the path to command line location? eg "path c:\windows\command" (without inverts obv)

You need a valid boot-floppy for your exact operating system w/Sys.com on it. Once booted to it, type:
Sys c:

It sounds to me like you did repartition your HDD all right, but did you know that when you alter partitions that all information in the existing partitions is lost? In that case, follow BFluie's advice. Use your partition program (ez bios?) to arrange the drive the way you want it. Then re-install the dos OS using by booting from A: and using Sys.com to put command.com back on C:. You will then have to re-install windows and your other programs.

Did you try booting up with the EZ Bios floppy and removing EZ Bios? There is an option in there to release the drive from EZ Bios' control and remove it. If you didn't format or partition the drive you should be able to remove it and get back to where you were.
