Are there any notebook vendors/companies that make a decent notebook that's OC'able?
Never see this topic come up and search posts didn't help. If not, any comments on a recommended "bang for buck" notebook would be appreciated.

I see you probably never taken a case off a laptop before. I wouldn't. The space in the case is so small that there really isn't much room for getting rid of the heat. And overclocking will make matters worse. And that's if you can overclock them. If mess up one of those, hold on to your wallet.

yeah, laptops have historically had heat problems, low battery life, and low cpu voltages (unchangable). mostly bad for o'cing since you already have a heat problem before you o'c, and you don't want to draw more voltage when your battery life is measured in minutes. the last actually might mean that the cpus are better for o'cing, but not in the laptop environment.

Yes, Laptops do overheat easily. I had a Compaq P.100 Notebook about 2 1/2 years ago and the case got closed, but it stayed on and the ram got messed, and the rubber mouse button melted.
