Ok, I'm looking to go get some software for my parents so that they can send and receive faxes on their computer.
Anyone have some recommendations that are not going to cost a bunch.
It will have to have a VERY easy interface so that they can operate it.

Well if you dont want to use the "built in" fax software of win9x I persoanlly would recomend the use of WINFAX or Cheyenne's BITWARE Both are very straight forward in working (WinFax is a much more robust program though)

I use Cheyenne Bitware- it's the easiest faxing software I've ever used.
"Send Fax"... click... done... me happy http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif

Thanks for all your suggestions, I'll try out the trial versions and make a final decision.

Dig around on all those CDs that came with your computer. I'll bet the modem install disk has Cheyenne, winfax, or both on it already. Voila, no downloads.
Also, check out Maximum PC magazine. Every issue comes with a CD just crammed full of cool stuff. IE5.5, Netscape 4.7, Norton, McAfee, games, tools, benchmarks, graphics stuff, you name it, they stuff it on to a CD for ya.
