I am in the process of building a new system. Abit KT7a-Raid mobo, Duron 650, Cheapass sound card and agp 2x graphics accelorator. The memory is 128 pc133 3.3v. The system does not post. Could it be the memory which is generic, or do I need to install a fdd? What do you think??

Please do not repost the same question. It makes it very confusing. And while it does not offend me, this is a family board and your language could offend others here.
I responded to your post in your other thread.

Do you get any sound from the system? A long blast indicates that the processor is not seated properly. If this is the case then try removing the processor and re-fitting it. This may fix the problem.
Otherwise make sure the BIOS is set to the correct processor speed.

It could be a number of things. How many Watts is your power supply rated at?
