It's gone gold...It will be released on Feb 17th.

I had an oppertunty to use a beta (2151) of this OS and really have nothing but good stuff to say about it. I got rid of it because the version I had did not support my SBLive, and couldn't live with my awe64 and 2d sound. I, for one, am actully looking forward to buying a microsoft product. As for Millenium...I havn't heard anything that would lead me to belive that is the way to go. Perhaps price.

Is it any better than Beta 2031? I hope so, I've tried the releases up to and including that one and was marginally impressed by the capabilities but not at all impressed by the speed. Millenium, you'll find, is one more updated version of win98 with even more of a bloated shell and extensions.
