Does anyone know how to change the default search url for IE??

I've been to microsoft and tried the registry hack but doesn't work. Still going to MSN. (or maybe i'm doing it wrong?)

Any other ways?

There's several registry entries -- I really won't suggest what to do since I simply use a "Search" folder in my Favorites....

[HKEY_USERS\.Default\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Search Page"="http://home.microsoft.com/access/allinone.asp"

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main]
"Default_Search_URL"="http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=ie&ar=iesearch"

Click the search button to open up the search box. Then hit the button on it "customize". From there you can change the default search engine.

Thanks...

Dave: I don't get a customise button after i click on the search button.

Bflurie: I tried those registries but still didn't work. However it gave me an idea to just search my whole registry for any "msn.com" occurrances and simply replace them with my search url.

Alls working now...

Many thanks again.
