Built this computer a few weeks ago all is working fine programed and all seems perfect. Now to the problem: Today was going to finish as all was left was to plug up internal speaker as wire had been broke on speaker so soldered it back and plugged speaker to MB.
Now has a continuous beep. All is working fine mouse keyboard everything so does anyone know what could be wrong ? 700 duron, gigabyte MB.

Check the seating of all your cards after you've done above.
When you say all is working fine, what do you mean? ( you've checked them on another machine ).
What is your motherboard exactly?
What are you seeing on your PC?
What are the beeps? ( length, duration ).
Do you see anything on your screen?
Sorry there's not any real answers in this post, but I need a little bit more info to give an honest opinion.
All the best, Justy.

Still have the problem ! Beeping all the time computer is running.
I have WinMe installed loaded with many programs running all work fine.
can fine no errors the computer works great on all programs ..sound and video fine.
It is just when i plug the little internal speaker up to the MB. Then startup it will
continuosly beep..at quick intervals.
Have tried everything !
Have been using computer for a few weeks now has no errors on it nothing seems
to be a problem except for that.

Doh,
Just had another idea, is it possible that in your bios you have no keyboard installed?
i.e. the POST won't look for a keyboard. Yet have a keyboard with a sticky key?
Just a thought?
All the best, Justy.
