Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : I know I started the socalgal dilema, but this still annoys me... alpha 12-11-1999, 05:46 AM I went to register at MRCs, but someone has used my EMAIL ADDRESS. Don't expect too much sympathy from socalgal either. I suggest just emailing the admins at MrC's about it - they're the only ones that can fix it anyway. Apostle 83 12-11-1999, 07:42 AM Maybe someone did it on purpose... anyways, how could they post unless they got the password from YOUR email account... someone is playin a trick on you, you need to mail MRC.. Susan 12-11-1999, 09:02 AM Alpha, if you've ever registered there before with that e-mail address, that would be why you can't re-register again with it. socalgal 12-11-1999, 09:43 AM It could very well be as Susan said. But if it's not, you should contact MrC - wrong is still wrong. Or, perhaps someone has physical access to your comp. Dave_H 12-11-1999, 10:29 AM What happens when you go to post a reply? can you get to the part where you can click the "lost password" link? If you put in your e-mail address there, it should send you the user name and password. alpha 12-12-1999, 04:44 AM Salah emailed me. I can post, etc., but I had to send my password to another account and have it forwarded to mine. welsh wizard 12-12-1999, 07:28 PM Have you got full control over your log in and access now, if not try and find out how some one has control over your e-mail account, was it your user name that was used. WW alpha 12-13-1999, 07:11 AM I think I've figured it out. The socalgal name on MrC's was regestered using zx81@angelfire.com , but has since been changed. I think this is why it wouldn't work. Anyway, I'm logged in with a different account and everything's grand. Joel Kleppinger 12-14-1999, 12:21 AM Hehe.. so what you're saying is that in the end, it's your own fault. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif I know I said it before, but it bears repeating: What goes around, comes around. http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif alpha 12-14-1999, 01:04 PM Well ,would I use those words? Yes. oops! http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif SysOpt.com
