I went to register at MRCs, but someone has used my EMAIL ADDRESS. I can understand usernames etc, but, well... Now if admin emails them, it comes to me and, ye know...

I guess what goes around comes around.

Don't expect too much sympathy from socalgal either. I suggest just emailing the admins at MrC's about it - they're the only ones that can fix it anyway.

Maybe someone did it on purpose... anyways, how could they post unless they got the password from YOUR email account... someone is playin a trick on you, you need to mail MRC..

Alpha, if you've ever registered there before with that e-mail address, that would be why you can't re-register again with it.

It could very well be as Susan said. But if it's not, you should contact MrC - wrong is still wrong. Or, perhaps someone has physical access to your comp.

What happens when you go to post a reply?

can you get to the part where you can click the "lost password" link?
If you put in your e-mail address there, it should send you the user name and password.

Salah emailed me. I can post, etc., but I had to send my password to another account and have it forwarded to mine.

Have you got full control over your log in and access now, if not try and find out how some one has control over your e-mail account, was it your user name that was used.

I think I've figured it out. The socalgal name on MrC's was regestered using zx81@angelfire.com , but has since been changed. I think this is why it wouldn't work. Anyway, I'm logged in with a different account and everything's grand.
