I am thinking of upgrading my vid card. I currently have a cheap s3 virge gx2 4mb card. I want something that has tv-out ports. Any suggestions of a good one? Looking to spend b/w 100-200 on the card. Thanks!

Well if you ain't in a hurry you may want to wait for reviews against DDR geforce against V4/5.

Or you can get a Matrox G400 MAX or a geforce (either a DDR or SDRAM version), but I'm not quite sure if the geforce has TV-Out.

It all depends on your taste and preference. All the video cards are good at something http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

For $200 the best you can get is the GeForce 256 SDR. That would bring a big improvement to your gaming.

The Matrox card would probably be the best, however,I hope you have a 500+ CPU and fast SDRAM to take full advantage of it.If you don't, your wasting your $.

I have a Viper V770 (TNT2 Ultra) its a good card but if you want tv out go for the 3D Blaster Annihilator Pro from Creative Labs (Geforce 256) or maybe the Viper II (Savage 2000)from Diamond Multimedia.
