Updating ESCD?

I have a 500 mhzP3 with an Abit BE6 II MOBO and it was running fine until I swapped out the video card for a newer one and now every time I start up the Comp just after it rcognizes my HD it goes to the next screen and says "Updating ESCD" and never gets past that screen and Ive lkeft it there for atleast an hour. It wont let me boot from a Floppy or CD. Any suggestions?


No, I have not. How would I clear my bios?

I have already took out all Cards except Video and tried to boot, but to no aveil.

Okay I cleared the CMOS and it didnt work, any other suggestions? Thanks for your help

I just reset my ESCD in my bios under the PNP area and didnt work either.

Have you tried loading the BIOS to its default settings? And also.. have you tried clearing the CMOS?
