No problems. you can mix and match. PC133 is fully backward-compatible.

Hi all, right now I have a stick of 128 mb pc100 in my mobo & im thinking buying another stick of 128mb, but this time it will be a pc133mhz memory. Can i mixed them w/o messing up my computer?
so that I will have a 256 total of memory (128mb pc100 +128mb pc133)= 256,,,thxs for any input

I was pondering this same question and as far as I know, it will be OK to mix them, the only thing being is that the whole memory will run at the lowest rating, ie 100mhz.

I don't think it would be a problem. I think that different brands memory would be even a bigger concern. Even that probably wouldn't be a problem.

Do you run with an AMD Athlon (Classic, Duron, Thunderbird)? Athlon sysyems are a little picky on memory, it usually doesn't like the cheap ****.

Just an FYI, it really depends on your board, some can, some can't do that.
