I came across the website once. I totally forget where it was or what it had relation to. You could download the talking green parrot or other animated characters for your computer. They would run applications among other things at your voice request, etc.

Does anyone have any idea what I'm referring to? I am pulling my hair out trying to get back to that webpage! Thanks for any help!

The program is called Magic Spell.

Here is the link:

Thanks Pantion... while the wizard character on that link looks very much like the 3d guys I remember seeing, I don't believe this was exactly what I was looking for. The webpage I somewhat remember had a handful of characters available for download, all on a single page. I don't believe they were made specifically for programs like AOLIM or ICQ but would probably work for them anyway.

More information: Microsoft was involved in a few of the characters' creation (it states who created it character along with their download size). Each of these characters were about 0.5MB to 2.5MB in download size.

Thanks for any and all help!

Yuo have to download the Speech Agent or whatever that thing is called.. then the characters.

Magic Spell is only an app that uses the Agent the one you are talking about is another app, but don't quite remember how it is called.

Was this the site you were referring to? http://www.bonzi.com/

Wow that is the same parrot I saw. Although it's not the exact webpage I was looking for (nor do I remember if it was called Bonzi anything), I'll give it a whirl. Thanks.

THere's also an app called Prody Parrot that comes bundled with the SB Live card. It dumps a similar app and parrot onto the desktop.
