200Mhz FSB = ram? (t-bird athlon)

what kind of ram can be used with this 200Mhz FSB, normal PC100?

You can use pc100 or 133mhz ram in the system the 133 will run better however if youve already got some pc100 stick that in. Also get QUALITY memory as t-birds are very pickey about the memory they will run stabaly with!

yes... but if the pc 100 will not run at 133mhz stable... youre stuck at 100mhz even with the 133mhz dimm. http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif

You can mix 100 and 133 mhz ram... but it will only run at the lower value and there are issues when you run different brands of Ram togther in the the same board (e.g. they don't like each other and your system will either not boot up or will crash all the time)..

I have mixed Ram in my system and it works fine in Win2K. (3 differenct brands with 100mhz x2 and 133mhz x1)
