I have a Abit Be6 II. I purchased an Intel PIII 800eb 3 months ago.
I successfully and correctly upgraded the bios to handle the PIII.
The system has worked 24/7 for months.
Last night the system rebooted by itself and refused to load.
After a lot of trial and error I found that the HD had not died, all the fans work and the temp is okay.
The problem is: I can only set the FSB to 66mhz. The system is currently running at 700 mhz / 66mhz.
If I as so much as try to lift it to 100mhz or 133 mhz, the system freezes.
I have cleared the cmos jumper a number of times which allows me to reboot.
The system worked fine for at least 3 months and I did no stupid tinkering.
Any ideas?

Please don't multiple post. It's confusing and wrecks a troubleshooting path.

Post once only in the most appropriate forum. Thanks.

Thanks, NDC.
