No video signal, help plz

Building a pc atm and I'm not getting any video signal at all. The only thing in at the current time is the video card, mobo, cpu, ram. It remains in standby mode and will not show up. I'm gonna try another vid card tomorrow, but if that doesn't work can i assume something is wrong with the mobo/cpu? Current system is for browsing, it's a intel 667 socket A, abit board BM6, and a TNT2. Plz help.

Do you hear, I think, 3 beeps at startup? If so, your MB is not finding the video card.

Is you card an AGP? If so, try re-seating the board. I have had numerous problems with AGP boards and seating problems. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 re-seating to get the boards to be recognozed by the MB.
