Its gone!!!

It sems as though I lost my recycle bin..its not on my desk top and not in the win folder and not in c drive period..

anyone know where it could be hiding??

running find does not find it..

how can I get it back?...running 95C

Tweak UI should help you out, perhaps you already have it. It has a tool to rebuild icons on the Repair Tab. It also has a way to turn Icons on/off on the Desktop Tab.

To rebuild the recycle bin when it doesn't appear or works correctly by some unknown reason just start in MS-DOS mode and write "attrib -h -s recycled" and delete it.

Restart the computer and it should be fixed. Of course before doing that be sure you didn't hide it using TweakUI or selected the option "Don't show desktop icons when using Active Desktop".
