In an earlier post we had it about case setups. But what temp do you all get after intensive use. I want to get some indication of what temperature is normal after running intensive programs. Also what temp do the guys with the exotic do-it-yourself modified 10 fan cases get after intensive gaming? If you can put it in *C please.
my voodoo alone was at a toasty 32*C before i gooped three heatsink/fans together and then gooped/clamped them to the board, cant use the 2 pci slots underneath my AGP though, but i think running at 180mhz on a voodoo3 2000 is worth it. hey, i have 1 more left anyways.
forgot to say that my total case temp is around 25*C.

Case is now 38*C.
Setup - fans wherever possible, Athlon 550, 7200RPM Maxtor HDD (it brings up the temperature a bit).
Right now I'm looking at a DVD which brought the temperature up by about 3*C as my DVD drive heats up. /forum/smile.gif
Also the overclocked /forum/smile.gif TNT2 brings up the temp - fan on it, but it is currently running at 50*C.

Well I think I'm not doing that bad with case 39*C Max and 35*C cpu. Since I only have one 4 cm fan blowing out. And even the 4cm fan was not even an option since my Aopen HX45 case dont let you place an outlet fan, so I had to improvise (there's no room for placing an 8cm fan). There should be cases with standard better airflow... To AuraEdge and Scotter: what case do you have? ALso I noticed that motherboards give different temp readings, our ASUS P2B never get's above 27*C in the same poor ventilated case with a PII 504. While my Abit BX6-2 states 35*C while case open. The heat indicator is placed to close too hot transistors on the Abit I think .

Forgot to add, running Rain.
CPU at 31 degrees C.
Mobo at 28 degrees C.
Room at 24-25 degrees C.
AOpen HX-O8 with one extra front 80mm case fan.
The strangest thing I've seen on several configurations (temp-wise) is to print from Adobe Acrobat Reader and watch those temps.

I'm totally broke, so I don't have a temp probe. I use the old hand-against-the-chasis method! My case measures kinda warm, well within limits.

Dkay! How do you get such low temperatures with even two cpu's running at such a high speed? Where did you get your case from, or have you loaded them with 5 80mm fans? Please tel me.

SO that's why you could o/c that high...
I would need some air-conditioning just to cool my room to 20*C. Room temp is about 28-30*C. I don't know the temp inside my case, don't have a thermocouple inside it, but surely its higher that 30*C. Got 1 8cm intake blowing at my cards, a 9cm, from an old XT PS, blowing on one side of the heatsink, 2 4cm exhaust fans tubed to the heatsink, and one 6cm CPU fan.
