I downloaded Quake III (Test) a few days ago. It was about 52 or so megs big. I installed it and tried to run it. It came up with some video message, and then turned off. No matter what I did, I couldn't get it to run. I have a 233Mhz with 64 megs of Ram. I thought this should be enough. My video card is a Diamond Stealth 2000. Anyone else have this problem?

have you set up the openGL drivers yet?
if not go here to get them http://www.glsetup.com/
set them up and then try running the demo again.

you need to read the readme .txt file in the q3 directory
yes it will run in the system but the menimum reqirments call for at lest a P2-266 64meg and a very good video
sugjested is a P3-450 with 128 meg with a ok 3d card
if your card supports the full version of opengl it should play but dont expect it to play realy good
as for getting it to run you have to have the full opengl
as stated above go to www.glsetup.com (http://www.glsetup.com) and see if your card is listed and a supported card if so download and run GLsetup
hope ya get it to work it's a totaly rad game http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif
