About a week ago I replaced the FOP32-1 on my Tbird with a PAL6035 w/Sanyo Denki fan. Now my computer is quiet enough for me to realize that my HD is not powering down!
The HD is a 7200 rpm ATA66 Western Digital (model WD205BA) and it is connected to the Raid controller on my KT7-Raid.
I have adjusted the "Power Options", power options in the BIOS, and even tried a utility called HDsleep to try and get the thing to sleep. I get the same results in Win2k and WinME.
Any ideas what is wrong?

C'mon, I know lots of people use the KT7-Raid. Does your hard drive go to sleep or not?

Sorry, I still haven't been able to solve this problem and I can't find anything about it on the net.
