CD Rom tray opens by itself

My Cd rom tray is possessed. I can leave and return to find that the CD rom tray is open. Would anybody have any clues on how to fix this?

Run a good virus scan, they like to do **** like that.

BO2K and NetBus have neat little "tools" for messing with people's computers! They an remote control your PC from their own! View, your desktop, screw with your keyboard, switch your mouse buttons, run programs, pop-up messages, graphics, tunes...You really need to run a good scan! You may end up with a reformatted hard drive, or the FBI asking questions about a DDOS attack you participated in!

i have read about being hacked,and your cdrom flying open is always a sign.is that like step one in break and enter,or a trick to scare the heck out of the victim.
