you need to make sure what your system will support the EDO some will not support the EDO only the FPM mainly the realy old boards but it would be a good idea to make sure before you spend your $ http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif

Try www.pricewatch.com (http://www.pricewatch.com) I found hard to find older processors doing a search of that site.

Staples Office Supply store near me has 32 meg EDO for $99 - $35 rebate = $64.

I would think EDO would be gettiong cheaper as I thought it was out of (or on its way out of) vogue. I have a Packard Smell 120 MHz with no memory. Hey, it was free. But I'm real hesitant to purchase EDO at the above price. I was also offered 2 8meg chips for $35. About the same. I want to use the 120 MHz as a stand-alone Internet downloader. Would 8 meg be enough to run Win95 and a modem?

Thx.
