I have a microstar 6182 main board with onboard sound. I have a diamond sonic impact sound card I would like to use with it. My problem is that when I go to load the sound card windows recognizes the onboard card instead. If I go to bios to ac 97 sound and disable there I still get the same result. Do I need to disable elsewhere in bios or how can I get my system to recognize the sonic card? When I load the sound card it loads fine but when I reboot the computer it only picks up the onboard sound card.
