I am going to be upgrading a system of mine soon, I am focusing basically on the processor. My processor isn't new (P-133Mhz) and nor are most of the parts inside of it. (I have a 1GIG hard drive and 16 megs of memory.) Before installing the new processor, will there be any other features I will need to upgrade? (ex. memory, hard drive, motherboard, anything?)

By the way, I forgot to mention I want to upgrade it to a Celeron 350Mhz.

Well you will need: New Mother Board--New memory--New power supply most likely because almost all the new boards require ATX power supply. You can use your hard drive***Floppy drive***and perhaps your case if you change the supply. I think you would be well off if you can afford it to just build a whole new system and sell the old one, you can probably get $200 bucks or so for the old one. Probably not what you want to hear but this is just a opinion.

Thanks, when I got it repaired last, the technician said it was worth about 500.

im afraid that a $1000 system 6 months ago is now not even entry level and you will be lucky to get $200 unless you find a mug.buds advice is sound.
