My Bios is corrupt. I tried to flash it;however, it is not booting properly. The screen is blank, and the floppy won't work. It seems the cdrom light will go on and it will work. What should I do?

Nope, you won't be able to flash it again, since you're screen is just blank...It isn;t even posting which means you won't be able to boot into DOS to re-flash the BIOS.

In most cases, this will not work, but a SysOpt Member suggested this and I've seen people get there system back up and running by doing this believe it or not! I'm assuming that the BIOS wasn't totally written or something... Anyhow....

Try clearing the CMOS by removing the CMOS battery or setting the jumper to CLR CMOS. I hope this works for ya, surprisingly it has for a few in SysOpt! http://sysopt.earthweb.com/forum/smile.gif
