chronic freeze-up

I just got a spacewalker shuttle ak10 mainboard w/amd tb 800 cpu. I have win98 and I keep getting freeze-ups when trying to install programs and downloading. Also, the sound drivers that were supplied with the system are for win98se and win2000. When I try to install them with my win98 os I get an error message that the drivers are incompatible with my os. I went to the spacewalker website, but there are no win98 drivers for the ak10, only for win98se and win2000. Is there any way around this besides installing win98 se? Thank you.

Well, if the web site specifically says 2000 and 98 Second Edition only, then their not supported in 98, and the company isn't going to do much about you trying to make them work in an unsupported OS. You might be lucky and find some programmers with lots of time on their hands, but thats unlikely.
