In W98, when you create a shortcut through a COMMAND line such as:
C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL32.EXE shell32,SHExitWindowsEx 1
(Two spaces between .EXE and shell.., and two spaces between ..Ex and 1)

If you want to totally get rid of the command, do you need to remove it from the Registry?
-or-
Does it suffice to delete the command from the Desktop and the Recycle Bin?

Thank you for your help.

Yup. All the info is stored in the .lnk (shortcut) file, or .pif file if for a DOS program.
