Is it part of the operating system? Should we call it a startup disk then?

Things like this make me really upset. Why did Gates have to close it down? Was it really hurting microsoft? no, in was in fact helping peopel who were having problems with microsofts os's.

I went to try to voice my opinion at microsoft. boy am I niave. Not only do they not have any direct email links or anything, but you have to PAY to get any kind of support on there products. WHAT A LOAD.

Im so mad I could almost buy a mac.

.........naaaaaaaaaaaw.

I guess that's why they call it MicroSucks!

And I blew the hunch to buy Red Hat last summer. Maybe I'll recognize the next one.

You know, the really scary part is that its only a short step from closing down sites like this one as well!

We'd all be doing a great favor to the user community at large if we wrote to our state leaders, and ask that they include this as yet another example in their anti-trust case against MS.

Here, watching this might help release some of that MS anger. (note: even if ya got a slow connect, this is worth the wait. Very funny.)

Maybe the site author should forward a copy of that MS letter to the judge in charge of the anti-trust case. Might hammer any inkling of leniency that he had...

On the other hand, stuff like command.com etc etc is part of MSDOS, and copyrighted, but in my opinion it's effectively in the public domain simply because of its ubiquity.
