Maybe it's just me but it sure seems difficult to find drives that exactly match the color of your case.

Wraith 12-03-1999, 08:46 PM With you on thatone raz, my system has 4 different tones of gray in the front. Another thing ive noticed is the fit to the front, my cd player sticks out in one side only about 3mm but anyway. mattheadfat 12-04-1999, 08:36 PM a while ago, my screen, two printers, scanner, tower, ups, internal cd, internal zip and floppy all had different shades of tope and off-whites's, ugly as hell OuTpaTienT 12-04-1999, 09:10 PM 2 words: spray paint! (disclaimer - I am serious about painting your system but only if you disassemble the case and remove the faces of each device and paint them far away from the electronics.) rl 12-04-1999, 10:15 PM hmm mine match PERFECT geuss i got lucky raz 12-05-1999, 07:04 AM OuTpaTienT - Have you done it? What'd you use? Regular bicicycle spray paint? reddog4629 12-05-1999, 09:29 AM Use a roller. Then it would look as cool as an Imac. welsh wizard 12-05-1999, 03:35 PM Never thought of looking before, but my Nicoles, Lexmark, Mustek,Rookey, case with Hi Val,Actima, floppy and zip, even the old LS AST monitor, plus old backup epson tractor printer are all a matching color, only thing that doesn't match is the message centre I just brought in from the office, Maybe it's all the smoke stains from the Philip Morris's http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif but even if they don't match Look at the screen most of the time http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif WW U-96 12-06-1999, 01:38 AM Would matt black be the most efficient? I always wondered about making cases white or off-white. Same dumb idea as whoever thought to paint all central heating radiators gloss white. If you look at old buildings, they were all dark matt colours http://www.sysopt.com/forum/smile.gif Even better, add some texturing to increase the surface area http://www.sysopt.com/forum/wink.gif U-96 SysOpt.com
